TWO MINUTES ON LATE-NIGHT TV CAUSE ESTIMATED 20 YEARS OF INTRODUCTIONS

The clip that changed everything back home is still being described at family gatherings "in full, with hand gestures, by people who weren't there."

Television Desk, The Spoiler Alert

The two minutes in question. Experts estimate that, counting retellings, this clip has now been shown longer than most sitcoms.

Television historians confirmed this week that a single two-minute appearance on a late-night talk show in 2019 has generated what one analyst called "the longest-running introduction in the Gulf."

The clip, which Mr. Samman describes as "two minutes on television after twenty years of work," was translated, shared across the Middle East and has since been summarised at an estimated 3,400 family gatherings. Teletraan-1, the Autobots' main computer, now logs it as the most replayed footage on Earth, ahead of every Decepticon attack.

"Nobody remembers the twenty years," said one analyst. "Everybody remembers the two minutes. That's television. That's also, apparently, how you get introduced at engagement parties for the rest of your life."

Mr. Samman says he is grateful for the clip and proud of it. He has asked that, next time, someone also call him the following week to ask how the other twenty years are going.
